Sounds to me like someone has taken the NKCA money and run.  I have been and I know other NKCA members have been trying to get in touch with this Lisa Sebenick (Davis, Boyles).  To no avail.  I have some possible leads and have called her grandson.…Continue

While in Kosovo as a UN Police Officer, I came in contact with a Ukrainian Major in the Ukrainian Police.  He traded me an auto single bladed knife which was made in a Ukrainian prison by a prisoner.  This seems very strange to us here in the USA but this is common in the Ukraine and my bet Russia too.  The Major explained the prisoners make the knives and trade them to the guards for cigarettes which they use for bartering within the social society of the prisoners.  The act of designing and making the knives gives the prisoners something to do and a way to gain financial stability within the prison population.  The guards then in turn sell the knives for a large profit.

The knife pictured is the one I traded for with the Major.  I had him sign a letter of authenticity  on UN letterhead.  The knife is light and functions perfectly.  I believe it is made of some form of stainless steel.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Yup, Stag and Stockman, great combination.  Good look, good feel, and a great working knife.

I agree Steve.  I love the Stockman and I love the Stag handles.

I had to send in my dues for the next year tonight. The officers are taking notice of things now. I'm glad to be a part of it.
