Sweeeeet !! My grandad always carried a melon tester in his pocket on the farm- Wish I owned the one he carried !!  Brings back some fond memories- Thanks and a beautiful knife !!

My middle son's in-laws are from a small town in Missouri and they had a watermelon farm right close to the river. And they sure did test melons right before shipping them by truck up to St. Louis. Cut a plug right out of the heart of it to check for sweetness. Thats one bit of farming I might like !
