I would say my favorite trip would have to be when I dad, brother and I hiked the Grand Canyon from north rim to south rim. We spent 4 days hiking it and saw temperatures on the thermometer at Phantom ranch just before he crossed the Colorado River and it was showing 130 degrees fahrenheit. The keychain thermometer that I had with me got to hot and exploded at 120 degrees cause that was the max that it would go. Got to see alot of really neat sights down there. It was a really great trip and would definatly recommend it if you get a chance, but definatly a trip you need to prepare for physically because you want to be hiking at a good pace so that you can get up early and hike and be in your camp before it really heats up.
