Looks almost like our backyard here in NC......except our creek is about quarter as wide........and we don't have Gators. LOL!
The swamp looks challenging, but the berries look yummy! Very different country than I'm used to.
These are some of the pictures, we took on our little squirrel hunt. We picked a mess of Dew berrys for a pie. The young dog I brought, tried hard but didn't produce any squirrels. We were out for fun and training of a young dog. We couldn't take to long on our hunt, because we had to get back and check crawfish traps and start cooking. Heck, it was saturday night. A little hunt with my grand daughter was worth a million, to me. She wouldn't let me put pictures of her on here, on the hunt. Heck, they are sweet, sorry.
Rusty, you must forgive my memory, I am getting older and my memory is getting real bad. I forget, I forget....LOL I am waiting on my little helper to add pictures.
I'm sorry Robert, I thought I answered you earlier. These pics are from central Wyoming where the Platte river goes by Casper. I can't wait to see pics of the Louisiana swamps.
Rusty, real nice. What area of the country are these photos from? Thanks again, for posting some photos. I plan on posting a few pictures we took yesterday, while squirrell hunting in the swamps of south Louisiana.
What with the warmer weather, I have been walking the trails along the river just outside of town in the mornings before going to work. The sun coming up earlier also helps! The last few days I have seen a coyote, a pair of owls and a young antelope that was not afraid of me. I got a lousy photo of the coyote but had better luck with the others.
Jeremi,
A part of our country that I enjoy!
Frank!!!!!
Fantastic read! It had me searching online to see some visuals of how that all must have looked. I agree, we should all see our wondrous natural sites while we have the chance
Real pretty country, looks like a great place to explore and maybe go camping.
