Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I started collecting fixed blade knives at first and have about 30 from various companies, but once I got into Pocket knives I was hooked.  I have about 50 and Rough Rider is the cornerstone of my collection. You cant beat the quality for the price.

I have a few RR's in my collection, as well as a few others. I don't think I have 30 or more brands/makers though. :) Pretty darned good for a "beginner"!

You are so right. For the price point a RR makes a good knife. They have a good assortment, various handles so something for everyone

I have 3 or 4 RR & I find them pretty nice. However, I also have 4 or 5 (Made in China) Robi Klaas Kissing Crane knives and I love them! Same price range as the normal RR knives but I find them even nicer than RR. If you haven't had one before, they are worth taking a look at in my opinion. ;-) Of course there are also the newer & more expensive RR RESERVE knives that are supposed to be as good as GEC knives but I don't have any of those. Hear are a couple of pictures of the KC knives I'm talking about.

I have to agree on he RR's!  My first RR was actually a prize from iKC, & I was quite impressed, so I've picked up a couple more since then.  The prospect of spending $50 on a Rough Rider is a bit odd, but I really like the looks of those RR Reserves, so it's gotta happen at some point, at least one will be added to my collection. sometime soon!

I've got a bunch of Rough Riders/Ryder's, and have always felt that they were good quality knives.  Great to use and didn't break the bank.  My only complaint has been the reduction in steel in the blades, which I've posted on before.

Sounds like you are off to a great start. I can't wait to see you collection, if you chose to share a few pictures with us. We all like seeing each others collections.
