Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hello all, I have been collecting Rough Rider knives for about a year and am very glad to have found a forum on this brand. In my opinion they are a bargain for the quality of knife that you get.I buy allof my RR,s from the knife place in lakeland fl,Good selection and great prices. i presently own the following- RR Saigon Sidekick,RR large locking sod buster in black micarta,RR large swing guard lockback in amber jigged bone,RR lockback trapper in the outdoorsman series and RR stag lockback with gold deer etch on blade. last of all my EDC RR441 medium stockman in stag. I plan to buy more! Robert Benton Tampa FL

A big WELCOME to the RR nuts!  Pull up a chair, grab a cool one and lets talk RR!

Thanks Craig,Does RR make a moose pattern?

Nope. So far that's one pattern they don't make........yet. RR has one of, if not the largest selection of  patterns and handle materials. And they keep coming out with new stuff. If you have a facebook account you culd suggest a Moose to them - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rough-Rider-Knives/126552174041147

Robert,

Glad to have you, I beleive you will like it here

Glad to have you on iKC and as a member of Rough Riders collectors. I have a  bunch of RR. I have pics posted on my page. They are a bargain for the quality that they have.
And we love pics Robert, put up a few when you get an opportunity

Robert, I gotta tell ya, the Saigon Sidekick is probably one of my top 3 favorite knives.  And with over 200 knives and several worth around  $100 that is saying something about  Rough rider. At the price it was an absolute steal!

And its overall look put the "cool factor" off the charts!

I liked it so much I made a nw tiger stripe sheath for it.

Here's the link to more pics.  The sheath is more versatile than the the sheath for the Sidekick or the Tracker

Tobias,

You did real well on the sheath.  I like all the D-rings...

Cool sheath! It does look like it just came out of the jungles of S.E. Asia, doesn't it.

I need to get one for my computer-fast-protection companion.
Tobias, I found your review of the sidekick on the net and decided to order it,I was not dissapointed you get a lot of knife for the money, I took it to a Friend of mine who makes custom knives to have it sharpened and he was impressed with it also-Robert

That sheath is very nice.  The D rings are a great choice
I have a cousin thats a lawyer and he loves all that tactical stuff. No matter how hard I try to bring him over to the traditional side of things. Well, ever Christmas we exchange knives as presents, I think that this just might be the ticket for this years present. I'll save a little dough too...lol
