Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have Uncle Henry Dead Man's Hand Knife  on my radar for a potential purchase.  Does any in this forum have any experience with this knife.

I have a few newer Schrade (made in China) knifes in my collection.  My only compliant is that they are not very sharp straight out of the box.  Anyone else having this problem?

Quite honestly Jay up to now, all recent Schrade knives have been made with stainless steel. And to be honest it is a great knife to look at but almost useless to use once the blades go dull.

Recently Schrade began offering Schrade Old Timer Hunting Knives. They have 7Cr17high carbon stainless steel blades. They also feature a green safety grip and a lanyard hole. They even come with a sheath. I would like to try one of this new variety and see if its any better than their traditional fixed blade knives made with stainless steel. I sure hope they would be better.

Yeah, you ain't alone. I've had the same problem.
