Have a question. Found someone locally with a NIB Schrade Lance, made for Wards back in the 80s, want to make an offer, but nowhere online do I see any value for it. I do see a couple people wanting one, and a couple saying they found one, but no one mentions a price. Anyone know?
Thanks all for your comments. They were very helpful and much appreciated!
Britney,
Uncle Henry is a part of Schrade, or was when this was made. The LB stands for LockBack click here to see an example with some explaination
Hi all, I'm a newbie on the boards, so please be kind! My uncle recently passed away, and my aunt wants to rid herself of my uncle's collection of knives. I plan on keeping a few, primarily because I know my uncle used them and loved them, but the rest I'll probably put on ebay.
So I have questions about a Schrade USA Uncle Henry LB8 knife. And I'll do my best to successfully post photos!
It has a serial number, but I can't seem to find online what this serial number identifies. Also, the blade itself lacks the phrase "Uncle Henry" inscription. Is this normal? Any guidance is appreciated!
I can't call myself a Schrade collector because I own exactly one. I recently purchased one of the new Schrade SCHF 37's and wow this thing is a beauty especially for the price. It did not come perfect, the blade sharpened a little off-center, but that could be fixed. Great knife for the price and compares nicely to my Ka-Bar Becker BK-7.
Tractor Supply has a 2014 Schrade gift set in yellow handles or brown , in a gift tin. It is a set of three knives for $20.
I am trying to put together a knife collectors stocking stuffer wish list to share out to FB and pintrest and twitter. Sure would be nice if our knife collectors got what they want in thier stocking LOL
Is anyone seeing anything Schrade that would make good stocking stuffers?
DEAL IN PROGRESS!!! Thanks Howard for letting us know
Hand-Tools.com is selling a 55 Anniv. Schrade 3-knife set, for the Schrade folks here for $23.99
Anyone bought a Taylor made Schrade LB7 ? I am thinking about picking one up at SMKW to see the difference from the USA one I have.
