Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I purchased this four inch , 3 blade stockman with a group of Queen pocketknives. It is a heavy substantial knife, with beautiful smooth bone handles, the blade swaging and nail nick, looks very similar to 1970's or early 80's Queen Cutlery. I researched the tang stamp, using Levine's Edition #4, then an online search. The tang stamp is T.S.Co. with a trademark. Assuming this is a Tractor Supply Company knife, what cutlery company is likely to have made it? Thanks.

Rick-Your TSCO stockman is a beauty. The TSCO actually stands for TSCO Cutlery, Inc. a very short-lived cutlery co. once located at 2905 Rossville Blvd. in Chattanouga, Tennessee. They were in business from 1981-1987.There is very little info out there about this firm. They produced a series of commemorative Corvette knives, a trucker themed knife, and a few others. Some sources on the web say these were made by Parker Frost as a SFO for TSCO, although in J. Bruce Voyles book, IBCA Price Guide to Commemorative Knives, he lists TSCO Cutlery as the manufacturer. Hope this helps some-

Thanks John, I saw that Parker reference, in another forum post, but the author wasn't sure of the source. His photo shows a Chatt. TN ,added to the tang stamp, which is not present on mine. I have several of Parkers old catalogs , so I'll see if I can match any.
