Nice Stockman! It appears to be very similar to a "Stockman's Friend" that was produced by Joseph Rodgers Cutlers to his Majesty in Sheffield, England. Same shield. It's definitely a Sheffield, though.
Wow, that's a nice one!! Interesting jigging.
Collection? That is a BIG Show or big Store. Thanks for the pics I might drown.
Far Too many than I could steal and swim off with.
This is my favorite spot of the day when I can view stockmans! Great ones Brad and Smiling Knife!
Thanks for taking the time to open all those up, Brad! Good show, mate! I especially like that old Western and the abalone Queen!
Wow, nice ones Brad!
That sure is a sweet looking Cattle knife you've got there, Craig! That "rough black composition" material was used a lot during WWII because of a shortage of bone. Would I be correct in assuming that this knife was made somewhere around that period in time?
Brad
I must agree that the yellow Western and the abalone Queen really caught my eye.
Queen has always been known for pearl and abalone handles.
And I have collected Queen off and on for years, but not just the stockman pattern.
The warm worn look of the scales on the Shapliegh knives are also eye catchers.
I have enjoyed the photos greatly and appreciate you showing us.
