I was referring to where a N. Korea might land on US soil. I figured that was as far as one could get.I went back and looked at the Tops knives again and think the Apache would be a great choice.
David...
The islands which are disputed by Japan, S. Korea and also N. Korea is called Dokdo and lies between these countries. These islands are not much more than big rocks sticking out of the ocean. S. Korea has a Coast Guard base on one of the two bigger island. No worries here.
Is Korea talking about the Aleutian Islands? Thanks for the help guys, both knives look to be good ones.I've got several that will work but just wanted something a little above the average while still being very useable. I had looked at the Rat series before,may just go with the Tops.
I am very familiar with the Ontario Rat 7. It is a great knife like all Ontario knives. Ontario has the Marine combat knife contract for now.
@David Noe,
There's good news and bad news about the bladehq. The good news is they are including an ALRT #01 with the Apache, the bad news is they don't have any in stock.
While you're on that site take a look at the Ontario Rat 7. Not quite as nice as the Tops, but it might be acceptable to you.
North Korea does not have a missile which could hit the USA. Even if they did we can shoot them down. North Korea acts like a junk yard dog but they can't even feed their own people. N. Korea is a non player. Iran....different story.
David....
I live in Oklahoma but the farms (part of them) are in Kansas about 25 miles south of Wichita on the Arkansas River.
The Chris Reeves knife Pacific is a good knife but priced way over what you would need. Save some money which could be put into a good firearm or other survival equipment. The TOPS Knives Apache Dawn Fixed Blade Knife w/ ALRT-01 (6.75" Grey Plain) APAD-06 is only $161.50 at BladeHQ: http://www.bladehq.com/item--TOPS-Knives-Apache-Dawn-Fixed-Blade--1.... Be safe...
It never hurts to be prepared but Korea would have trouble hitting a bird over the barn.
so korea has a nuke that will reach us soil , usa haters all around, survial may be closer than we think, usa wants our guns ,dont make since not that we can do anything about a nuke if one hits home. guess nothing to do but old your ground till its over or your dead.
clint how close to whicita are you ?Im going to have to get out my ROCT books out on land reading and topogrophy to find you.
