LOL you two
O went for a walk on the snow covered mountain and I came back to learn about Teddy R getting shot and baby poop! I love the things I learn on here
We probably don't want to discuss the unique anatomy of the only marsupial native to North America.
not the first time I mixed up scat. Data's correct. Wombats poop cubes. Scientists believe it is done in such a fashion as to mark there territory, especially in terrain where round poop would roll away. Not sure how I got my marsupials confused.
Wallabies on the other hand have the ability to produce two types of milk. One type is for newborn wallabies and the other type specifically formulated for older wallabies that have already left the pouch!
History major followed by a masters in information science. I get paid to do research. Over the years I've determined the coolest stuff I've learned is the stuff I discovered while researching something else! I mean how else does one learn that a wallaby's poop is shaped like a cube?!?
Tobias, you are an encyclopedia of interesting kniowledge!
From what I recall he was shot with a .38. The assassin was going for a head shot but a bystander grabbed the gun and instead Teddy took one to the chest. He shot through a heavy overcoat, and then through his written speech (50 sheets of folded paper) and the steel case that held his glasses. The bullet then hit him in the upper right chest. After the speech he was sent to the hospital, treated for the wound, but the bullet was never removed as it was deemed too risky.
