Steve, if it was shot, wouldn't that be poaching? As liberal as our deer season is here in Alabama, ours is closed. Could it have injured itself on the wire instead of being shot?
BTW, I once shot a deer and trailed it bleeding heavily for over 500 yards and could not find it.

Hi all. I love old American SxS shotguns. Here are a few snapshots of my AH Fox 12 gauge Model A made in Philadelphia in 1925. Still has some of the original blueing. Hope this works. I also have a custom made .54 cal Flintlock that I use to hunt deer. Need to take some good photos of that and will post later.
