From my experience I would say that five minutes is just about the minimum response time. I recently read that average response time is about 11 minutes. And of course if that is the average, it can be much longer. But even in 11 minutes a lot of harm can be done.

Being a LEO I can tell you, the snowflakes in the USA believe an armed citizen is a dangerous citizen. They fear what they don't understand. With a 5 to 10 minute average response time for law enforcement, the armed citizen is our first line of defense. Pure and simple every since April 19th, 1775.

No wonder Chicago has a violence problem. I love the part about people having guns illegally. I don't think they care about laws anyway.
