I hereby retract the previous comment-- Upon further examination, I can now positively conclude that these knives were indeed made by leprechauns hoping to involve Japan, Canada, the USA, and the independent state of Montana in a global crisis, so that they might steal all the gold in Ft. Knox  and score some Canadian whiskey and saki , in the process--ROFL

Manx,the Japanese secretly made knives in Canada during WWII- They made miniatures to make themselves more Ninja stealthy-- It was their answer to the A-Bomb-- They had the sheaths made in Missoula, Mont. cuz no one misses a stray deer or 2, there-- Hope this helps-
