years ago one of my best friends was in a museum in france while there was a flintknapper workshop  ( he collects neanderthal-celts and articacts )

he met the young bernard ginelli who was making knives exactly like they were made 6000 years ago in the region where i live now

at the end of the day my friend was able to buy a ginelli knife and gave it to me as a birthday present a few weeks later

the knive is made of dark silex ( heat knapped ) and the handle is sand polished yew ,   connected with tar-drenched  wildboar bowel

the bone harpoon is also a replica and fits the date and location perfectly
