The way that Mr. No-Shoulders is just laying there you could easily mistake him for the garden hose. That appears to be a Gopher snake, if I'm not mistaken? They are nonvenomous and harmless to humans. Is he a friend of yours, Carl? By that I mean a usual visitor to your yard.
