Steve...
Here is Bruce Voyle's reply on my inquiry of this knife.

The knife you mention does not look to be a Parker. I saw where one person speculated that it was 1980-83 and I can attest for a fact that it was NOT during that era. Jim and I bought Blade Magazine in 1981, and as a part of the deal I produced his catalogs (and did the photography for them) during much of that time. I bought out his shares in 1986.

The knife appears to me to be one produced by Taylor Cutlery. He had a few with those blades folding out of the handle. Frost or Parker would have likely put their logos on it. The T.Duty makes me think more toward Taylor took as there is a Doug Duty who is one of his larger dealers. (taking a leap of faith on that part of it).

Of course it could be an independent contractor like Ballard Cutlery out of Chicago, Fury, Star Sales, etc. as most of those guy were bringing in a lot of Japanese stuff. From the handles I'd think we're talking late 80's early 90's at the oldest.

Steve,

I bought this from Yahoo auctions back 10 to 12 years ago. The man who had it listed was from Florida I think. The stag? looks just like some of Jim Parkers stuff from the 80's but usually he had an Eagle logo on those somewhere. So hopefully Bruce has some insight on this one.

This looks like a Parker which was made in Japan in the mid 80's.  I shot the info to Bruce and asked for some help.  I am sure he will ID this one for us.
