Maybe it is just me... But I really enjoy seeing the 'in process' pics of knives. Makes me wonder why I don't take more of those myself. Guess I am just a hypocrite. :P

Thanks, So we have done it both ways. Starting with a feather billet and cutting the half for the blade. And forged it as half feather and sold it that way.. This one started out as a full feather billet and cut it to show the half feather and have matching spring patterning.. Again. Thanks for checking out the posts. God Bless

I really like the mammoth scales. The feather damascus... Is that basically 'half' of the damascus billet after you split it to create the 'feather"? You just didn't reweld the halves back together again? Very cool idea. I have only seen it after the 2 halves have been rewelded.
