I just received this  Balisong from a good friend who's husband was a senior official with a major petroleum company.  It was given to him on a business trip to the Philippines.  It is obviously a gift from some prominent person for a special event.

I have several Balisongs but I have never seen anything like this one.  It is a solid brass frame with Philippine Mahogany inlays.  The file work is exceptional and extensive.

I would appreciate  any information that anyone might add regarding the significance of the eagle ricasso and the significance of a knife of this quality.

Thanks,
Bob
