My wife has the larger coral Gallagher Glide Lock in one in the arm rest storage boxed that divides the front seats of her car and carried it three years ago for her 2 month trip to Israel (for a dig) via Switzerland and Italy going and London returning.

She pulled and used it on a slash and grab motor scooterists bandit who tried to grab her handbag…Two of my [tomboy] daughter were standing next to her when the scooter came up and tried slashing her bag strap--which didn't work due to aeroplane wire running through the strap...They both pulled their pink Kommer Fulcrum knives on the two guys...My wife slashed the drivers right arm and one, if not both of the girls, stabbed the arm of the passenger who was then grabbing the strap of my wife’s purse and slashing at it with a crate knife which he then dropped as he fell (was pushed off) by my daughter and held for the polizia to arrest and jail--the scooter guy was picked up at the hospital getting 40+ stitches to his arm.
