My Lane Cedar Chest conversion to Knife Collector's Chest

My Lane Cedar Chest conversion to Knife Collector's Chest

This fine Lane Cedar Chest I converted to a collector's chest was given to me after finding it in my parents attic. They had bought this Lane Cedar chest in 1940s. You can imagine the shape this chest was in after all these years. I decided to strip it,repair it, and refinish it. Turned out real nice. I decided to make a collector's chest after a serious talk with my sig other who much needed it for quilt storage. It became my collector's chest. After selling most of my knives I will now make it a chest for storing quilts. Anyway I thought I would share this beauty with you.It has been a quality knife storage chest.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
