This Puma was given to me several years ago to fix and to keep if I wanted it. I wanted this fine Puma without a doubt,and was very interested in the design of a new handle for such a Puma icon.Most White Hunters I had seen had stag handles,so I decided to use whitetail antler and leather strip from a whitetail hide. Took about a day to design the piece of antler for the scale and finish the handle with the leather striping.Finished all handle with same epoxy I used to secure all pieces with.I was satisfied with results,but thought handle was a bit long for most people.Fits my hand well. Maybe one day I'll grind a little more off the bone. Thanks for checking out the album.
