The Ideal Knife Co was located in Providence RI, in business from the mid 1920 through the mid 80s. This one is probably 60s or 70s vintage.

 The stamping looks like IDEAL .. in lower case script .. I'm guessing Imperial manufactured as an in-house brand. Perhaps Colonial. The model is a knock off of the military TL-29 electricians knife.
