That material is called eggshell and yes it is silver in the spacer. This knife was a total surprise to me. Our dealer buddy called and said, you need this one. I had never seen it

You can't go wrong with a Painted Pony custom. I love the way he inlays Gold/Silver leaf into the veining of the handle materials.
Man...now I am going to carry my Turquoise Prater Defender tomorrow.
