@ Steve .... it's made out of 10" file. Anza makes all their knives out of files. Good high carbon steel .... annealed . worked . re-tempered .

"We choose to make our knives from files because a file is an excellent source of high carbon tool steel. Through a process called annealing, we remove the brittleness normally found in a file. The knives are then hand ground to shape, a handle, commonly known as Dymondwood is then added, and final finishing, polishing and sharpening are then completed. I don't beleive, I've ever seen one like that before. Real nice, my cousin, would kill for a knife like that. It's his favorite type.
