This is the Dagger Type 1L by Ash Blades. The Type 1 model was fitted with either a stacked leather (L) or Black Walnut (W) handle. This one features the stacked leather handle; giving it a militaresque look and feel, along with a brass cross guard and pommel cap.

Although it is the same size and shape as the Hunting Dagger, the blade geometry is just slightly different. But as with the Hunting Dagger, you know you have a serious dagger when you hold this in your hand!

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
