This is the “El Diablo” Bowie by Ash Blades. At 13.5 inches overall, this handsome devil can compare to any large Bowie in that class.

The El Diablo features a tapered drop point blade with large unsharpened teeth along its spine. The design of the saw-blade spine coupled with the down-swept quillon of the guard is more likely to entrap an epee blade like a sword breaker than cut any wood. The handle is black wood Micarta with a brass pommel.

Subtle is not a word to describe this knife, and if you are thinking what I originally thought...it is as heavy as it looks!
