This is the Trail Guide Bowie by Ash Blades. Similar in design as several of the Bowies offered by Ash Blades, this one is just right for the day hike. It’s lightweight without being a lightweight, not oversized, and not intimidating. Yet it can step up to any emergency if needed.

The Trail Guide features a classic clip pint Bowie blade with a 90 degree spine, making it usable for ferro rods and fire starting – a feature looked for in bush craft. It has a simple but effective brass guard and pommel cap, with Black Walnut and buffalo spacer making up the handle.

It’s a simple knife with a simple design, and it’s easy in the hand.
