The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
This is a pic I extracted (cropped) from the small display case. From top to bottom, my Great Great Grandpa's, my Great Grandpa's and my Grandpa's. The top two were given to me by my Grandpa (Dad's dad) and the third was his, that my step grandma gave after he passed away.

John, I can tell that you and your dad were very close. I am glad you were close to him. So many people regret that they were not closer to their parents, until it was too late. I am close to my dad and mom also. I do cherish all of the knives that used to belong to family members who are no longer with us. I do plan to pass mine on, for generations as well.
Ellis, The top one belonged to my great, great grandpa (which I never had the pleasure of meeting) and is a Schrade Walden, the middle one belonged to my great grandpa (who was around until I was a young adult) and is also a Schrade Walden, the bottom one belonged to my grandpa (who passed away just after my oldest son was born) and is a Camillus.
What brands are they, Jeremy??
So special Jeremy! I never knew my grand dad on either side but I do have a couple pocket knives from my Dad after he passed away and they are my most valued knives. Nothing special or expensive but they were my Dad's.
Can you tell my Dad was my best friend?
Pass them down as your family has done, Keep the chain going!!
Jeremy,
How awesome is that? Have you decided what peice you will to that for your son?
