this little hunk of stag is awesome!
Really nice old stag knife. A beauty.
Thank you, John!
Ron, beautiful old knife-- BTW, Zap a Gap is available from most Walmarts, just about any knife makers supply, plus if you Google it, it will take you to their website (superglue) where you can type in your zip code for retailers near you.
Thanks for the suggestion, Jan. I'll do that...just as soon as you tell me where to get "Zap."
Ron, it is beautiful! You might want to put a drop of zap a gap in there to stabilize it
Not much to tell, Miss Jan. Arnex Cutlery, as far as I can determine, produced knives (primarily pen knives like this one) in Solingen, Germany in the early 1900's. This particular knife was made somewhere between 1920 and 1940. You can see a stress crack on this beautiful old stag in this picture. The crack does not go all the way through and seems to be reasonably stable. Of course I don't fool around with it too much. It's a very pretty little knife!
grrreat looking vintage stag pen ron. minty fresh look to this arnex. I like it....
OK spill! Tell me about this one please
