The "MS" stands for metal Stampings. The one on the left was made in Nova Scotia in (I think) 1942. I will have more history on these to add soon.

I posted this in chat, but for everyone else--Metal Stampings LTD (or M.S.LTD XX as on the other knife were both made by Metal Stampings LTD ( A Case subsidiary that operated out of Nova Scotia from 1948-1950-) Basically, both knives were made by the same company with 2 different tang stamps- This style knife was standard military issue for Canadian Military during  WWII and beyond- These knives were post WWII production, but very possibly used in the Korean War. BTW, the knife on the right with the arrow surrounded by the "C". That is the mark of the Canadian Military Acceptance Stamp-- This knife was standard military issue for all branches of the Canadian Military, though made by many different companies-- BTW, this style knife originated in England  and was issued during  WWI.
