Extraordinarily exquisite is this folder by Carlo Cavedon that he recently had on his table at the Belgian Knife Society show in Gembloux. No, I didn’t attend, but was able to acquire it from Carlo during the show. While the 3.375" blade is normally much longer than I prefer, just couldn’t resist this beauty. For the blade, Carlo used a mosaic Damascus, forged by Vlad Matveev using M76T, ШX15 (a roller bearing steel similar to 52100), and nickel. Obviously, he engraved the bolsters and then museum fit some very thick interior Mammoth ivory scales with a fine grain.
