Really love stag. Here’s a pic of two of my favorite stag pieces. Took some time off from my pre-winter chores to do annual maintenance on my stag handled knives. When I was done, took this pic. Each has stag scales that complement the other; so much so that I routinely carry them as a pair. Both were made by Alan Davis. Really like the top one, not only for the stag, but the bolsters. They are copper onto which Alan fused sterling silver. The rich patina the bolsters have developed over time is out of this world.

Oh my!  I am not sure if it is the photo or the knives, but this REALLY strikes an accord with me.

I agree with you, the damascus blades and stag handles are both really nice; but the patina on those bolsters sends each of these knives up a notch.  Loving them!
