Thank you for the information. Yes, I bought several Damascus stag and bone early 90s when Parker owned Case this is the only one with a gold shield.

Sweet looking dog leg trapper! Yes Jack, there was a series of those put out around that time frame...just not sure what patterns were included. And yes Mike, that's a 1989 piece.

That is a pretty 5240D pattern Stag Trapper with the special Gold sheild. I am guessing it to be from the Centennial era 1989, when Parker owned Case. Some people didn't like what he did while he owned Case but myself because of the Case Classics he had made. I have more old patterns than I would have if he hadn't
