Here is the new pony paired with my blue sycamore Davis

Loved the red sycamore since it came out .... but have been looking and looking for a grain pattern that spoke to me!!  Often times, you just don't get to see both sides of the knife when you order from a retailer.  FINALLY found one!!!  It'll go nicely with the blue sycamore Alan Davis folder I have.

Red Sycamore! Now that's a first for me. I don't recall ever seeing Red Sycamore used as a knife scale before. If I did I wasn't aware of it? And, as beautiful as the scales on this Seahorse are, I think I would have remembered it if I had. Those exotic scales and that "XX" rhombus shield certainly make for a very tasty little Seahorse! I would be negligent to omit a comment about how frightfully sharp the edge on that Wharnie master blade appears to be - WOOF! I'm gonna zip my lip before my knife-envy becomes any more obvious than it already is. Sweet knife, my friend!
