 Case reference books state that the Case Tested XX old knives were made 1920 to 1940.   "Counterfeiting Antique Cutlery" by Gerald Witcher has the shield on page 36 and says it was used 1915 to 1925.  That means this was made 1920 to 1925. The handle material is Brown Bone.  I am not sure if it is green bone,  Does anyone here? Green bone without much green has a lower sale price than  one with lotsa green color.

Tell me how you nailed down the age to 20-25....bowtie, tang, or handle material...I have a hard time getting accurate dates?
