Model number is J1927. I was skeptical of this knife because it reminded me so much of the Gerber Paraframe. WOW did I underestimate this knife -- it's miles ahead of the Paraframe, in every respect -- materials, design, fit & finish, everything. The stainless steel handles are well-polished, really smooth -- and yes, slippery. But other than the resemblance, this knife is a league above the dang Paraframe!
