cigar boxes...i actually have an addiction to them as close to knives{ALMOST}..SO GREAT SHOT!

I collect cigar boxes ,to keep my other 2 collections stored, KNIVES AND PENS...LOL... so when i take pics lots are like this..on cigar boxes with stands..

FINDING BOXES-cigar boxes you can find anywhere from of course EBAY to the easist and cheapest-- CIGAR/SMOKE shops-{i collect vintage as well, different ballpark}.PRICE-fror me 1-2$ a box no higher then 5$ if it happens to be all wood and a very lovely box.anymore INO is a RIP OFF!SHHH DONT SAY ANYTHING...LOL-but the more"high end" the cigar shop the more they regard he boxes as "trash"  so cheaper or even FREE most of the time!! ITS a "just get em out of here, type of deal."the current cstomers dont want trash in piles.so i show up on SUNDAY and help them out with a bag or two.i dont care.i give the owner 20$ or bartender and i just fill as many trashbags as i can with boxes. CTP award for that! trust me you can get away with never paying for a cigar box if ya want...and legally.

STANDS- as far as the STANDS go you can grab them anywhere i have ones marked CASE KNIVEs those i like! and a few oddballs like a KLEIN TOOLS and others..but most stands you can grab generic and even USA MADE.. check out ebay.. just like their are knifers..their are folks into plastics.. and they make little MOLDS like these stands.any sizes ectect..so you know if your knife will rest in the belly of the stand.and very cheap. hope i helped.-pf

The stand, itself, is a slab stand from a rock shop.  The box is an old cigar bax.

Thanks, I thought so. A.G. has made knives all over the world and has kept up his quality. The best ones I havve from him are made in Seki City, Japan. I had some from Arkansaw that were really good also but I gave them away.

Who made the knife that year?

Surprised that they are still available or did you find someone with two that was willing to part with one?
