Initially I got it because I love it's looks, but it's performance hasn't disappointed me either. Right out of the box it's one of the sharpest knife I've ever held. Used it a for a little while, but I hesitated every time I had to cut something because I love it too much to put wear on it. :)
Uses the NAK-LOK locking system. I think it works fine and saves your thumb from being cut up by a sharp liner. Although, many people that see it for the first time thinks it's an automatic because of the button. :)
