The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I know that Cold Steel sometimes gets some fairly harsh criticism, but truth-be-told, they make some very good blades. Such is the case with the VERY burly AK-47 design. I happen to have two; one with the aluminum handle and bead-blast blade and the other with the G10 handle and black blade. The Ultra-Lock is very similar to Benchmade's Axis lock. These knives open like greased-lightning and their bulging biceps blades work very well on heavier duty EDC. Too bad Cold Steel didn't jimp the spine of the blades.
