Oh man...now that's what I like to see! Someone using a great knife for prepping a fine rack of ribs for the smoker. While I don't hunt, I love to use my hunting knives for the BBQ. Go ahead and club your log or ice brick. To me, if the  knife can't dress the meat for the cooker, then it doesn't pass my qualifying tests. 

Well done sir! (The knife and prep work, the the meat!). 

OK Dave...let's hear the spec's...all it it. We want details on the knife, of course, but especially on those ribs!  LoL!!

Wow!  I love the Thai-influenced design of that cleaver.  The length seems ideal & the thickness looks PERFECT (in the 2nd photo).  With a knife like that, I hope you got some ribs out of the deal! 

Sidenote:  I think I need more friends like Donnie -- or even like Dave!
