Thanks John. I don't think it was ever used. It has mild pitting on both sides so I'll bring it 'camping' and use it in the 'bush'.

Craig, beautiful Cutco # 1765  White Puma-  Probably 50's or 60's-- The thickest blade knife  Cutco made, who are now known more for kitchen cutlery, Cutco  is based out of Olean, NY. This was made as a competitor to  the famous Puma "White Hunter" which saw so much military service. High carbon steel and USA made. BTW, even though this is vintage knife, Cutco still offers a "Forever Guarantee". Send it to Cutco for the price of postage, and they will still refurbish and sharpen it for free !!!
