I dont think excessive is the right word, I think it should read to show appropriate pleasure response

Re: this knife ~ I would like to use the word "Drool" as an adjective, a verb, and a noun to describe my reaction upon seeing it. All 3 variants would be apropos. As would be the following illustration (see below)...
