Yet another wet cold day here, maybe head up to the shed later but for now doing some leather work.

Just had to show this off to someone,( not yet finished) my first go at  basket weave stamping and also the first time I've used a dye, light brown this is called.

The pattern the dye and the white thread give it a great finish (IMHO) just lifts it to a new level.

The knife is a red handled Mercator - very slim - and my thought was to make a slip that would go in the back pocket of my jeans.
