Hi Terry. Thank you for your warm welcome. The multi-coloured pattern is embossed and painted leather. I have a permanent stall at a craft market where I sell my knives. My neighbour sells ethnic leather belts, key-rings, book marks and bangles. This piece was a book mark I bought from him, and inlaid into the sheath. Worked so well I'll do some more!

Hey, Hylton. Welcome to the Ethnic Knives group! I just viewed your photos, and have to say that they are truly awesome! I especially like the knife you call your Ethnic Hunter. It's a beautiful melding of steel and natural handle materials. It's sheath is outstanding. Is the multi-colored pattern dyed leather, or some other material?
