The Elk is my favourite as well Jan I can take or leave Stag but I do like Elk .

Thanks Jan , Derek and Doug . GEC sure can turn out a good looking knife though .

This is the first knife I have bought that I just put back in the tube without sharpening . It is a pattern that I like , well you can see that of course , but I don't carry it very often and that Snakewood is just so pretty  !

I did hear that GEC had a difficult time with the Snakewood splitting badly in this batch , so it could be a little rare on the secondary market .

All  lovely knives John  but that snakewood is a standout! Just grabs your eye.

GEC's viper is the first time I've seen snakewood. I'd sure like to find a barlow with those covers.

I like them all and this design is great in a pocket!  There is just something about elk though.  It feels good to reach in your pocket and just rub on the elk
