My first foray into the realm of Elephant Toes and Sunfish. So very basic, but I have to start somewhere, right?

All of these have a single blade as opposed to the 'normal' two blades.

I just can't help myself.  These newer Rough Ryder knives are pretty awesome.  The fit and finish on them is overall good.  I sure hate to start collecting another Pattern of them even if they are reasonably priced.

I am certainly not claiming to be an expert on these things...

From what I understand, the Elephant Toe pattern has a handle that is slightly tapered from front.to back.  The Sunfish pattern is virtually straight. from front to back.  Most people view these as synonymous and I am not sure that distinction is completely accurate in all instances.

One of things that a lot of people seem to really like about this pattern, is that the blade(s) have a significant 'belly' on them.

The white one is white micarta.  Both of the top two knives have D2 blades.  The middle one has Cinnamon Bone handle scales.

That's a sweet little grouping of knives you have there....love the jigged bone. Is the Subfish called a Sunfish because it has a Sunfish on it? (I can it's slightly longer than the other two).

The white one - is that with bone handles?

And I like the uniqueness of the single blades. Not that I am any authority on these models, but the ones I have seen and are familiar with have been with two blades.
