Thanks JJ. It would appear mine is one of the earliest made based on the hilt / sheath and SN. I love it as a back up carry. Thanks for the info...if anybody has any additional 411?

Hope these help. I'm guessing early to mid 70's by logo design, assuming they go along the same lines as the MK II.

The serial number is 4 digits and the leather sheath is brown, not black.

Trying to get an approximate age and perhaps an idea of what steel might have been used. 

Any help is greatly appreciated. It's a great little carry knife. :)
