Yes they are a little bit firm aren't they, I have just gotten used to mine.

Thanks, John.  I like it but the springs are like a bear trap.  It can be a pain to open so it probably doesn't get as much carry time as it deserves.

That's a beaut ,I have one in Micarta and it's a great knife.
